High School Apprenticeship Program
Mountain View School Division provides a variety of vocational programming at several high schools. The largest selection of programs are available at the Dauphin Regional Comprehensive Secondary School (DRCSS) in Dauphin, where there are several vocational programs which are accredited through Apprenticeship Manitoba.
The High School Apprenticeship Option provides opportunities for students throughout the division to earn both a wage as well as high school credits towards graduation while working as registered apprentices at worksites. For more information contact Mountain View School Division.
There are 55 trade programs in Manitoba. Apprenticeship Manitoba coordinates the training and qualifications system that delivers accredited, structured, workplace-based skills and technical training to apprentices, leading to journeyperson certification. Also, Apprenticeship Manitoba will facilitate certification through trade qualification for experienced tradespeople who seek formal certification in their trade.
